If you are spending a few days in Touraine at the end of 2025, there is no missing Christmas at the Châteaux — the time of year when the Châteaux of the Loire bring out their finest coats of light. We even “tried it out for you” — yes, at great personal sacrifice — and we can tell you the show is well worth the trip!
Special mention to the curtain of decorations at the Château d’Azay-le-Rideau, on the theme “Treats in the Land of Fairy Tales”. Somewhere between fairy-tale wonder and sweet delights, we felt like children again… and we loved it!!!
